Application

Panel mount instruments are engineered for seamless integration into standard electrical or industrial enclosures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance within the control panel. By embedding measurement tools directly into the panel, they offer centralized access to critical data, simplifying monitoring and control. This makes them particularly well-suited for machine builders, OEMs, and industrial environments that require efficient, space-conscious integration within existing systems.

LT1240 Load Cell Panel Mount
  • Supports 4- or 6-wire strain gauge inputs and powers up to 6x 350Ω load cells with +5VDC excitation
  • Features a 24-bit ratiometric ADC for precise measurements over a wide display range (–199999 to +999999)
  • Easy calibration using load cell certificates or known weights
  • Rugged 96×48 ABS/polycarbonate enclosure, rated Type 4X / NEMA 4X for harsh environments

LT1230S Summation meter
  • Digital summation unit for combining data from multiple Loadtech instruments with RS232 or RS485 communication
  • Supports both wired and wireless configurations for flexible integration
  • Standard RS232 and RS485 ports on the LT1230 for versatile connectivity

RS232 and RS485 ports share identical functionality and must be configured to match the connected devices

Compatible with various setups, including

  • Two LT1240 instruments (RS485 required for wired connections)
  • One LT1230 unit running summation firmware

Optional accessories:

  • RS232 or RS485 radio modems for wireless communication
  • Large displays connected via cable or radio link for clear data output
